Well I have most definitely sсrued up my Dnn and I will most definitely have to reinstall it or something. There is no way to save the database with my hosting so I thought that I would take this chance and move my stuff to another place where I’ll have new clean install. The only problem is that I have a lot of Ventrian modules ( well I have shout  box news articles, child links, feedback and Simple Gallery ) how to make a move that will be as smooth as silk ? I don’t want to loose anything since I have very little time to spend online and I will not have any time to fill albums once again or again write  my news. Is there anyway to back up everything and unpack it in a new place

I have tried one module from evotiva… had no luck understanding it… and support of it also ( no matter how they tried ) couldn’t help me…. I thought it would be click backup – click restore and it was not… and the host I was using it on had the option to backup database and root folder so I found no use in using evotiva since I think it does the same…. here I have a scrued up host that will not allow database backup and  damaged DNN tat is not working properly... don't know what to do...

any idea guys?

my other site is hosted at websecurestores I like it but it's pricey for my free sites... so I host them with alpshost.... it is good to the point.... so ideas of a good plentifull host with decent pay are also accepted... I don't use support much all I need is space, at least 10 domains, maybe 2 hosted domains and good uptime...

Simple gallery should move OK, news articles is a fair bit harder.

If you know SQL well, you could write a few queries to copy the data over.

Hmm, it might be better to get someone to do the work then, as it mostly involves just moving the data accross using sql. I have done this for other subscribers.
