Hi Scott,

1. If a particular subscription plan was active and then set to not active, will those subscribers still get a renewal reminder at the end of the subscription period? The idea would be to allow them to choose one of the other active plans.

2. Would it be much trouble, in the next release, to add a text field for the processor field?

When I receive subscriptions from Snowcovered, I need to access the database and enter Snowcovered as the Processor type/ It would be convenient to have the ability to propagate the processor field from the Add Receipt form.

3. I was wondering if we have given any more thought to coupon codes.

I am beginning a series of video screencasts on the Ventrian products this week and I need to get a few of these facts before going into the studio.

Have a great day!
Buck

1. Good question, I've just checked the code, the answer is yes, so I'll need to make a change.

2. You want the ability on the add receipt screen to specify the processor field?

3. Yep - they will be coming soon, I have a few changes to property agent to make and then I am looking at some more changes here.

2. Yes please. it currently defaults to manual. If I have several sites such as snowcovered selling the subscriptions, I want to be able to edit the processor field to track the processor without having to manually make the changes in SQL.

It would also be appreciated to be able to add a transaction ID to a manual entry.

As I am sure is the same with your snowcovered purchases, I ask the buyer to register for the site and then send me their snowcovered transaction ID.

Once they send me that information, I would like to populate both these fields from the Add reciept >> Reciept Settings.

Now integrating an affilate program with Subscription Tools would really be the icing on the cake.

Alas, I reserve that conversation for another thread.

Thanks for the good news on coupon codes.

TIA
Buck

I went in to make the change so that reminders are not sent out for plans that have been marked as inactive.

The problem I have ran into is that receipts do not store the plan they signed up on rather the details about the plan (as the plan could change, merge, etc). I am unsure on the best way to handle this at the moment. They will receive a reminder to say their plan has expired and be linked through to join another plan, isn't this what you wanted anyway?

You can now add processor and transaction ID on the add receipt page.
