I noticed that we have an option to edit the sorting of albums. I was suggesting the same for photo sorting. An addition to that would be include the actual photos in the list so you know what you are manually sorting. Any thoughts on this?

I also would like to see the photo-sort feature mentioned above. the only way to do it at the moment is to remove them and re-insert them in the desired order which is laborious. can someone comment on when we can expect this feature please?

You can auto-sort by title/date created, etc automatically. I assume you mean a manual sort?
