Hi Scott

Been a long time since I posted here!

Anyway a quick question.. could not see any documentation...

When I untick "Is album public?" what is exactly happens? I assume only certain security roles can only see the album, but how do I control the role/s?

NB I want it so that these restricted users can only view the album, currently I can only see where upload/edit and delete permissions are set.

Many thanks!

I always assumed it simply hid the album from the gallery for anyone who is not signed in with edit rights on the module.

It's more of a publish/unpublish function for the author rather than for controlling viewing permissions by a specific role.

I'm not sure if people with upload permissions but no module edit rights can still see unpublished albums however... you'd need to check, or Scott might know.

Yep, it hides the album from non-admin users.

Ah.... just beat me to it .

OK I guess this is a feature request to improve permissions here,so that admin defined roles can be assigned to view (as well as edit) pictures. The "use case" is basically I'd like some roles to be able to view a private album, not edit it.

Many thanks Scott....
