Hi Scott,

So cool to have EXIF in the module now  - For those who aren't sure yet, this really means that the meta data is independent of the gallery module and therefore much work is saved when images are moved around the web.

I'm just now testing it out with my Simple Gallery user and have found that Mac owners might have a little trouble finding a free and easy (read: not commandline) EXIF editor. If anyone has one, or know a trick for doing it, please let me know.

On Vista it's dead simple... either with the right-click properties dialogue, or by using the preview pane along the lower edge of the Explorer window. Poeple should right-click down there and select a large preview pane for more options. The standard and Live Photo Galleries for Vista and XP also provide easy access to the basics.

Now, the only real issue I've found is that the tag function is not behaving. When I add more than one EXIF tag, the gallery seems to string them together into a single tag after the upload. Is it supposed to work with multiple tags?

Rob

It should, what does it look like when you uploaded it (the tag)?

I'll email the sample photo through to you now

Have a look in the properties and you'll see "tag1;tag2;tag 3" (I purposefully put a space in the last tag to see what it would do, but instead, it strung them all together into one long tag)

Just a note - In order to input multiple tags when using the right-click properties dialogue in Vista, one has to hit Enter, or click away from the field, after each one.
