I have a big problem in my website (DNN 4.6.2). Last year I have successful installed the ventrian Friendlyurls "module". http://www.ventrian.com/Resources/Projects/FriendlyUrls.aspx One hour ago I have tried to disable this module modifying the web.config file. Exactly I have disable this string: ----> add name="UrlRewrite" type="Ventrian.FriendlyUrl.UrlRewriteModule, Ventrian.FriendlyUrl" <------- but when I replace it after two minutes the same string, my website give me the error: Module Load Warning One or more of the modules on this page did not load. This may be temporary. Please refresh the page (click F5 in most browsers). If the problem persists, please let the Site Administrator know. Why after I replace the string, the problem have not solved? Maybe I have changed something in database? Moreover I don't have anymore host and admin access. eny help is apreciated thanks Marco

I have check my web.config and I'm sure that I have replace old file. I don't understand what's happen.

Try logging in as host, so you can see the error messages in admin -> log viewer

I can't logging in as host and admin. when I click on login (=entra) give me the error: http://www.informatori.info/Home.aspx?aspxerrorpath=/Default.aspx

You need to add the core httpModule back in if you are commenting out the ventrian one. There are 2 parts to the rewriter, one that reads the request (httpModule) and one that formats links (provider)

I have solved my problem by upgrading dnn 4.6.2 to dnn 4.8.2. Now it's ok. thanks
