Hi Scott,
I have loved your Human Friendly URL modification. I see that the DNN community has loved it to as it is now built into DNN. I am now trying to use a product that does not support Friendly URLs. Is there any way it can be turned off by page yet? If not, do you have any sample code I can pass on to them to disable it just for there modules? I have to much tied up into your friendly URLS to turn them off now.

I saw that you do not have it turned on when you use the links for News Articles. Can you share what makes that stop working when someone goes to the link?

Thanks
Rick

Probably not without modifying the provider, it's an all or nothing kind of thing. They could skip using NavigateUrl/Edit, but that will be a major pain to them.

It only has the really friendly url when the page has no additional parameters besides TabID. So for news articles it reverts back to the normal format.

Hi Scott,
That is what I expect it to do. I would like to find the code that can disable it if a module is on that page. I think we are saying the same thing. I am trying to figure out a way to read the url and chsnge it back to one with the tabid.

Thanks,
Rick

You could modify the friendly url provider to exclude any rewrites for pages belonging to a list you maintain, e.g. just do nothing if the TabID is 45, 54, 32, etc.
