Is it possible to edit the text of the tooltip that appears when you hover over the picture that is the in the frames?

When I hover over any of the pictures in the frame, the tooltip says something like "Sample Photo from Album Number 9".  That isn't very helpful or descriptive.

With the new Album Description being added to 1.06 (thanks Scott), could I possibly use that as the tooltip?

If you look at the Photos section of my website (www.theblaums.com), you'll see what I mean.

Hi,

You can edit the tooltip in the Gallery.ascx file. (Lign 69). Just replace the text by yours and AlbumID by Caption for example.

You could have then: "Image from album: My first album"

Hope this help,

Bertrand.

You can replace Caption by Description. That's to answer properly to your question.

Bertrand.

Ah, it actually shouldn't be albumID in the description, I'll see what I can do for next release..

That's exactly what I needed.  Thanks everyone.  I'll try that on my test site and then put it in production.

my problem is really that the description has html in it, so the tooltip looks funny to the user...

i'd like to display alternate text as the tool tip. any suggestions?

I'll be adding an option to optionally show the tooltip (enabled by default)

thanks Scott...

I tried putting the code in dev and recompiling it, but couldn't figure it out. do you know of any good docs i can go to to learn how?

also, I tried just taking the alt attribute out of this line from the 'ViewGallery.ascx' file :

img src='http://www.ventrian.com/<%= Me.ResolveUrl("images/xml.gif") %>' border="0" align="absbottom" alt='' />

but whenever I did that, the page just infiniately loaded and never rendered anything.
