Hi scott,

If you're considering re working on that module, i would like to suggest some ideas.

1. To separate the " form", where you shout, and the "iframe" where you see the shouts.

2. to let us use or not the icons block , so we can create a lighter form instance if we prefer to.

3. to let us modify a little beat the form. (like the label "shout", and control over the html.)

4. Maybe to make it all with ajax, (no refresh page i mean after shout.)

5. Maybe to replace the ifram with a feed? for more embedding options?

Thanks.

This will be an AJAX reworked module in the next week or so.

1. Not sure what you mean here, do you mean differnet modules?

2. I agree, it needs to be less visible, maybe a popup/help screen.

3. Agree.

4. Agree.

5. Hmm, what kind of feed?

1. Yes, i thought of different modules.

admin settings for each "shouter" module:
icon settings:
1. use default.
2. upload image browse.....
3. use [SHOUTER:IMAGE].

About the iframe/feed module: (admin settings)

A. the feed title should link by default to the tab with the shout module reported the shout. (not an option to choose)

b. Choose which "shout" instance to report. An option to report a or/and b or/and c , or them all .(aggregation, probably more interesting).
d. display RSS button.
e. number of shouts to show.
d. max height. auto scroll/ use pager.

Hi scott,
I saw the blog post about it.

will you also be able to include: [shout:xxx] to limit the number of characters?
thanks.

Great news, will the source be available in VS2005?

Would you consider an option to use displayname or username?

Thanks

Hi Scott. I'm for one are realllly looking forward to a updated SB module. I'm currently working on a re-design of a site, where the SB module looks goofy cos the re-design offers the users a css-selector and in the wide layout the SB module is still X pixels wide.

Behold my re-designed site (giggles): http://mad.mad4fun.dk
Old design: http://www.mad4fun.dk

Oh and Scott. Your modules friking rocks!

Hierarchical categories & Geocoding are in testing at the moment, then this will become my next personal project as it has been quite a delay already.

Days becomes weeks and weeks become months. Did you have any time looking at a new version yet?
Surely, we're all about to piss in our pants in anticipation :)
