Hello,
I have recently installed it, and have followed the instruction to upload it into the /bin folder, and also modify the web.config file, however, I'm not sure this is working. I am still getting tons of tabid links and such.
You can view it uploaded to my site, www.zunenerds.com. I'm not sure if it's implemented, but I'm pretty sure I have followed the install guide 1:1.. I am running 4.3.4.. Are there any other preliminary steps that I have forgotten?
Regards, Danny |

| It only works for items where there is only 1 parameter (that being tabid), if there are more then one parameter, it resorts back to the old way of doing it. Does that clear it up? |

Hello Scott,
I haven't been able to get it working on anything. Can you identify any spots on my site where it is working? I have noticed it is working on your site and works for your different pages (Home, Products, Support, Company, Resources, etc.). On my site, I have not been able to get this working on even displaying thos links differently. I'm not sure what I am doing wrong - Could you decipher any changes at http://www.zunenerds.com? I'm really hoping to get this intialized as it'll be tons of help.
Regards, Danny |

| If it helps, I am referring to the "Human Readable URLs for Pages". I also haven't been able to get it to work with the "Removal of Duplicate URLs for tokens such as [TERMS], [PRIVACY], [LOGIN], [REGISTER]". All the links still seem to have the tabid's still showing up. |

I've investigated this matter a bit more thoroughly. Perhaps I am suffering from the same fate as the other user whom was talking about the HTTP rewrite. I have installed your module on my local server that I connect to through VPS, and it seems that I am able to get the Friendly URLs to display there.
They are both running the same version of DNN, 4.3.4..

I've taken a look at your site, did you make the exact changes to web.config? It looks like it's using the old provider.
It's not a problem the HTTP rewrite, as the default rewriter works OK. |

Are there other settings I have to change? I honestly don't know why it's not working. Friendly URLs is to work in Host Settings, and I have changed both the options. Are there any server options that need to be opened? I had contacted my host, and they were asking if there is any documentation that specifies if the server needs anything to run it at all.

Hi Scott,
your (Human) FriendlyUrls are working perfectly, except one tiny thing:
when you have multi language site and use Locopons or Apolos localization modules Friendly Urls don't respond to these changes. They still use default tab names. Is there a way to improve Friendly Urls to take into consideration tab name rewrite for different locales ?
Thanks

| Do these modules use NavigateUrl? They should use this to call the provider. |

| There's not much more I can do, they should use the navigateurl core method when forming URLs. |
