I have 2 problems that I don't understand how solve.
1. permission file manager:
I use a default folder and subfolder Gallery/Album/[AlbumID)
When a user with a specific role created In Administrator menu' add with new photo wizard and create new album the new folder [AlbumID] not inherit the permission from parent directory but is created with only default Administrators permission. Why? I tried to modify the folder permission for Gallery and Album parent directory but the behavior is the same.
2. is Public ? checkbox in Album properties
I have some Albums structured in order to categorized the Albums added using a specific role. In page allowed to Administrators only, I have one Master Album and 7 sub Albums with simple gallery master module. Then I have created e relative 7 pages for each 7 sub Albums with the simple module refering the Master module and filtering only the specific Album for each page. I have allowed the role for edit the module in order to allowed it for add sub Albums in 3rd sub-level (master Album-subAlbum category-subAlbum role owner). Well I would like to disallow the role to add photos in 2nd level categorized Albums. I try to check the Private Album in 1st Master Album and in 2nd level subAlbum, but no effects found. All levels are allow also if the role cannot add the photo in 1st Master Level (this becouse filterd only 2nd level categorized Album) but in 2nd level is possible to add photos. How I solve this ?

1.) This is an issue and I'll change it so it inherits.
2.) This is actually album security and would be part of a much larger enhancement. |

Excuse me for my bad English, but I don't use it currently, my experience is 20 years ago.
Well, when do you think to release the change about the inherit ?
My interest is also about the Security settings on Album permission that I suggest in link above. Do you think to realese also that ?

I'm making some changes to property agent and news articles at the moment, so it will be at least a week before making the changes.
I can do the inherit permissions in the short term, but the album security requires more work and won't be implemented for a little while. |

| Thanks for your reply. I need to release a new web portal and the inhert permission is most important for me. I wait it as soon as possible in accord with your planning. The Album security isn't urgent and I wait when you will release it. Regards. |

| I have been working on it, it's actually more complex then you would realise, I had to go up the tree to try and make it work, the API doesn't make it easy. |
