Hello smcculloch,

I'm currently using DotNetNuke 4.4.0 and Turkish language packs that i created. One of the things that i can't apply to my portal is friendly urls.

http://www.ventrian.com/Resources/Projects/FriendlyUrls.aspx contains ur project files.
However DNN 4.4.0 has new UrlReWrite module right?

Which one should i use to gain friendlyurls working?

For example: i have popular page located at;

http://www.mikroproje.net/portal/Rehber/İşletimSistemleri/ResetveMaviEkranProblemleri/tabid/63/Default.aspx

But i want to use, http://www.mikroproje.net/portal/Reset+Mavi+Ekran.aspx or like that.

i went to Host > Host Settings > Friendly URL section but i find myself lost trough things :)

How can i configure this issue to fit my needs?

Thanks for helps,
Peace

Yes, but mine is a modified version, you should use the 3.3.4+ version on your site.

"For example: i have popular page located at;

http://www.mikroproje.net/portal/Rehber/İşletimSistemleri/ResetveMaviEkranProblemleri/tabid/63/Default.aspx

But i want to use, http://www.mikroproje.net/portal/Reset+Mavi+Ekran.aspx or like that."

Hmm, this would be a custom assignment to a page, this not really doable yet. It tries to take the tabpath and assign a URL automatically based for that.

I do have some ideas on how to do custom assignments, but need to get some time to do this.

But, it can be doable after perfect assingment right?

I cant wait for this until it became doable :)
It makes my pages SEO friendly right?

Thank you for replying

Btw i installed the Friendly URL module located at this portal and, finally found how to use it,
Now, i can eliminate
/tabid/63/Default.aspx and replace it with .aspx it converts my page to
http://www.mikroproje.net/portal/Rehber/İşletimSistemleri/ResetveMaviEkranProblemleri.aspx
This is a enough solution for me too :)
