It would be nice to have an option to display albums in a list format in addition to the thumbnail view.
The list could have album name link, album description & options to add photos & edit photos & edit album (links displayed depending on permissions).
For albums with subalbums, when you click on the album name link it will take you to a list of all the sub albums. When you click on an album name which has photos in it, then it would take you to the standard thumbnail view of the photos in that album.
This feature is nice since it allows you to have an option to list a lot of albums without having the thumbnail load time.

One important additional feature and main reason I suggested this, is with the list view you can more easily allow users to submit albums, add photos, edit photos, etc.... with the links in the list view. The current dropdownlist for selecting albums to add photos to is not as easy to use and can be cumbersome with lots of albums.

Also, owners may want to have the standard thumbnail view but also allow their users to use the list format for adding photos (rather than dropdownlist). So it would be nice as a configurable option when a user clicks to add photos, it can display this list of albums with the links to add photos.
