Manual photo sort order

Details:	I'd like to be able to sort the photos manually, the same way that we can manually sort the order of albums.

I just suggested this in the forums. I think can be achieved by having a sort by last edit. with this you can edit in the order that you want.
i know this is a dirty hack but can be implemented easily i guess.

That wouldn't be very useful to us. We've already moved on to another photo gallery. What we'd like now is to be able to sort by the date in the EXIF data.

I'd like to see the album and image sorting use AJAX or at least not do a page refresh (JavaScript) each time you change the order.

I suggested this as well - for business websites clients often want particular photos displaying first, and trying to work with filename or title name prefix work arounds looks amateurish

This would be great! Even creating a field for now that can be filled with numbers to force a manual sort.

Yes please !!!! I know one of my customers had to find a work around as they wanted the photos in a specific order. This was a series of pictures of a trip, and wanted them in a certain order (eg start to finish)
