This topic has come up in discussion before. I truly believe if you could attach a send to friend token in a template, it would drive a lot more traffic to your site.

I would really like this one. Every news site out there lets you forward an article to a friend.

I have been thinking about this a lot lately. I have recently purchased PowerPage from DNNToolSet. It allows you to add Add to favorites, Make homepage, print, and email (you can hid or show any combination).
I have the module in use on my site at http://www.justnorth.com (without the email envoked)
The problem with their module is:
1. If you add the email to a friend to the bottom of your page, the page refreshes and you are at the top which confuses your user. 2. You have no option to have the titles stacked on the form controls. The thing is really wide and breaks a sized table column.
I would prefer a pop-up form option. Then you could have the email bar on top of a page or bottom. The only issue would be pop-up blockers.
I have seen these email forms on sights where it glides in, like Scott's, blue you have a private message. Now that would be cool!

OK I have found a workable option. If you check this link you'll see it working on my site, click the email icon at the bottom of the article and try it out. Works fine.

I have made some modifications to the View.Item.html template file. BTW I'm using the blog template. If someone is interested I'll send you the line of code to stick it in the html template file. I couldn't live with out the sent to a friend option. :)

Sending page via email would be a great enhancement, especially if it wasn't using the mailto: tag (thanks for your suggestion HardRock! You're right, it at least gets a link, but using the site server would be much better)
I think this pretty much is a must have!

In the new "standard" template, there is a email function, please let me know if it meets your needs.
