Allow users the ability to make comments on individual photos

Details:	this would be a very valuable feature. there are many instances where i get feedback on particular photos via email. this feedback doesn't get shared with other users which would be valuable in my opinion.

I think this is a very nice idea. I have the same experience, actually a client asked if this could be added. She saw a www.Plogger.com site and liked this feature very much.

Definitely a needed feature IMO. Currently, my users create a topic in my forums about what's going on in the pictures... be much easier for users to just leave comments on individual pics... having comments moderated would be good too.

Agree! I have a family website that we all upload pictures to. This would be a great addition, so would an field for who uploaded the file.

Additionally, the user/owner of the Gallery should be able to select to be notified when someone has commented ... as blog or News Articles ...

These features are coming, but will only be available with certain slideshows, e.g. not the lightbox

This feature will be very valuable, but let me extend this request by adding the request that a moderator should be able to publish the comments (or delete them).
