Recently, I've been asked about finding good web hosting for DotNetNuke in Australia.

Currently, my web host is WebSecureStores, a host I am very happy with! (If you are looking for a U.S. based web host and choose WSS or WH4L, you qualify for free host membership to this site).

But as for Australian hosts, I've not had much experience. From the email, a short list was suggested from the Australian whirlpool forums:-

There is also a blog entry from Frank Arrigo about webhosting too.

Have I missed anything? Does anyone have any recommendations?

Scott, the problem is that US hosting tends to offer a much better value proposition, especially when you're talking dedicated :-)

I've tried both US and AUstralian based servers and I argree you would get more for your money with most US based hosting. BUT one of the issue with US server is your modules will have to depend on US server timezone (Accept for Scott's modules )!! Speedwise i find that even if i run mysite fr Melbourne Australia , US server is still faster that AU server!

Yes, that's true. If you have a dedicated server, you can control the timezone but it can fall apart if you use the hosting provider's SQL server that's in their own timezone.

I agree with you guys about pricing, a U.S. host can be much cheaper, it's just a shame about the pond in the middle between the U.S. and Australia!
