I thought this feedback entry was interesting, Freedom for the World?

Should I be classed as anti-freedom now?

That guy is a pork chop. Seriously, you get the core for free, you get a bunch of modules for free, if he wants more modules there are tons of tutorials around that teach him how to write them for free. I hate it when people fly the open source flag without really considering how the model operates. Its like saying how can I learn about building a computer if somebody doesn't give me free parts to build it? I don't think this guy would go up to his local computer store and say "hey i want to learn all there is to learn about building computers, can you give me a bunch of free parts so i can learn how to build one?"
If he wants to complain about "Freedom for the world" he should check this movie out about wal-mart... http://cinegrafique.blogspot.com/2005/11/wal-mart-high-cost-of-low-prices.html i watched it last night... perhaps then he'll learn a thing or two about freedom for the world....

in addition, Scott's modules (PA *and* source) cost $35us/Year. You can say that isn't free but you'd have a hard time convincing me.

I can't resist commenting:
For me, I was extremely relieved that Scott started charging for his modules. Most of the great developers in the DNN sphere that are donating huge amounts of time can only sustain this for a short time the life's realities set in and we stop hearing from them.

We in this community are pampered with a developer that bends over backwords to respond to our needs with both great code and quick responses to our questions and even complaints.
I think this is hands down the best CRM site in the DNN community.

I couldn't agree more psp. One reason I stick with the $20/3 month plan over the $35 for a year is that I think Scott more than deserves it (and more).
