Sql Express and MSDE Side by Side?

I couldn't find much information on the web on whether or not Sql Express and MSDE can run side by side.

The answer is YES, they can. (I hope this saves some people some time).

I'm assuming this means it can also run side by side with SQL 2000 enterprise edition? and what about side by side with the full blown version of SQL 2005? I doubt there'd be much need for the second scenario, but i'm sure there are plenty of people aronud that would be in the first boat

so i tested it out last night and the answer is also YES, you can run express with SQL2000 EE
