Wow, they are both out and on MSDN Downloads. You'll be able to hear more information on November 7th though, concerning DotNetNuke and ASP.NET 2.
As for modules, I know News Articles won't work on SQL 2005, but I think all of the other modules should be fine. There is one particular proc that is not working correctly.
Time to get the downloads going..

Just saw this on the Aus DotNetList, so may help some: BITS is used for downloading software from MSDN subscriber downloads. Usually it downloads at about 20 kb/s per stream. If you perform the following tweaks you can get it to download up to 10-15x quicker depending on your connection speed. For me it's downloading at 160 kb/s which means I'll have it in five hours or there abouts. Basically the solution involves changing your host file to make your system think it is downloading from the main download server even though you are using another faster one. This technique is courtesy of Jason Mauss. Here are the details: 1) In the hosts file on the machine doing the downloading (%windir%\system32\drivers\etc\hosts) add an entry for the Microsoft server: 207.46.252.185 global.ds.microsoft.com 2) Then, in Internet Explorer, add https://global.ds.microsoft.com in the list of trusted sites under Tools > Internet Options > Security > Trusted Sites. 3) Also, under the privacy tab click the 'Sites' button and enter https://global.ds.microsoft.com so that microsoft.com is a trusted domain.

Man, this site hasn't change in a long time! Very stale. Is your site suppose to inspire me to buy your products or subscribe (for whatever reason)? I don't think so. Don't quit your day job.

For $20 you can download a full suite of some of the highest quality modules available for DNN, complete with extremely well written source, all of which are continually updated to reflect the changing needs of subscribers here. That's a hell of an offering, and easily the best offering I've seen in the DNN community. If that's not 'inspirational' enough for you, then you may as well give up now.
