While looking through my referral logs (I need a life right?) - I noticed a referring URL as follows:-

http://host-tracker.com/site-monitoring-statistics/33657/

This site is really useful, it's a free monitoring service that will notify you via email if your site is down. You can setup tasks to monitor your site and it provides reports on your site's uptime.

Thanks to whoever set me up on this site.

I have been using this for a while now and it works great. I also include a link on my site that shows the stats.

eG Innovations end to end monitoring tool is alos good enough to monitor ..i have been using it from 6 months...it even send SMS to you if any appplication or server is down....and monitor lot of critical applications.
