Setting up for DotNetNuke Module Development

If your confused about setting up a development environment for DotNetNuke, I suggest you take a look at the following 2 links:-

The first link shows you how to modify Visual Studio .Net so that you can add web project items (aspx, ascx, asmx) to class libraries.

The second link shows you how setup your development environment within visual studio.

This should be enough to get you started..
