Well, I handed in my resignation at the start of this week.

Come 1st of July I'll be full time running my own business! I'll be running this site (as well as a few others I maintain) and doing any consulting work that crops up. My main focus will be maintaining these sites and growing that part of the business. Consulting is something I'll be doing just to gather funds so that I can spend more time on the software/service side of things.

It should be a very interesting change in work lifestyle and i'm looking forward to the challenge. Thanks again for everyone's support!

Congratulations!

As long as you can "pay the bills", you will be happiers as your own "boss".

Scott - it's something you've talked about for a while, and I'm really happy you felt confident that you could take the step - you'll be in demand I'm sure!!
Best of luck, regards from Nina

Fantastic news Scott. It has been a long time coming I know. Now if I can only find that magical formula myself. ;o) Keep up the great work.
