Some of you may remember my first blog and how eventually it disappeared.
Actually, this is quite typical of most blogs, my issues were:-
- Largely around that did not host my own blog, so there were times when it was down.
- It became a little confusing on what I was actually blogging for or about.
So now I have a new blog, so what's changed:-
- My site, www.smcculloch.net is now subscription based. I need an outlet for thoughts, ideas and critique that does not fit in with the article section of that site.
- I am finding I am losing too many ideas or programming techniques that if I do not write them down, I may forget them.
- I am losing a central place to store links or code snippets I commonly use.
- I don't have a memoir on what I have accomplished over the year.
So there you have it, those are the reasons.
I really like the www.blogger.com software, and I plan to integrate some of the simplicity into my articles module.
