Hi Scott,

I've got 2 (related?) questions which I am not able to solve.

The first issue is that my Where Are They module does not show any users. I have already checked this forum for threads and copied your settings for the Scheduler. I also reinstalled the module, but still no activity in this module. Are there any other settings?
You can see it on www.feelgoody.com

Another probably very stupid question is about the People On-Line module. I see this module everywhere but I just cannot find how to obtain/activate this module. Am I missing something here too?

Thanks

The users online module is located in the desktopmodules folder of the dnn download, just find the zip file and install it like any other PA.

Make sure you have users online enabled in your host > advanced settings, it is disabled by default. My guess is the whos online uses that info as well.

Get The Net!!

Yep Jack is right, make sure you have users online enabled in Host -> Host Settings and the schedule job enabled (PurgeUsersOnline I think).

Sounds like an article on how users online works and how to get it working..

Jack,

Thanx for your reply. This was indeed the problem. Feel quite stupid, but just missed this.

Again, many thanx,

By the way I tried y ombiunation or thing I could think of :

1.Uploaded the modules again.

2. Check host configuration

3. Check that the schedule is enabled

Maybe try restarting the app by modifying the web.config? Sometimes the scheduler stop calling the event or the settin disabling it is cached.

I tried restarting the app by changing the web.config.
I really hoped it whould work but it didn't.
still get :

Where are they?:

As you can see both are empty.
Maybe there are some settings in the IIS or the server that I should tell my host to check ?
Is there a way he can disable the site from running events ?

In the event history I do see the events run.
